Benefits of Peel & Stick Wallpaper

Wallpaper is making a comeback. With so many beautiful and interesting designs, you might be considering this decorating option for your space. However, you may also be hesitant because you aren’t really sure if decorating with wallpaper is something you want to commit to.

Well I’ve outlined six benefits of peel and stick wallpaper that just may surprise you and make you change your mind.

    1. Affordable

Compared to unpasted or pre-pasted alternatives, self adhesive peel and stick wallpaper is more cost effective. With peel and stick wallpapers you won’t need to hire an installer or spend extra money paste, brushes and a tray typically used for the pasted an unpasted alternatives.

    2. Make a Statement Without the Commitment

You can dress up your space for a reason, a season or forever – it’s totally up to you. Since the product is easily removable, you can always change it, swap it out or go back to your painted walls in the event you change your mind or want something different.

    3. Easy Application

The self-adhesive backing eliminates the need for messy paste. It also is perfect for your DIY projects. Just peel the backing and stick to the wall. No need for water or messy paste.

Christene Holder of Keys to Inspiration has a wonderful step by step on how to do install peel & stick wallpaper on her blog here.

    4. Perfect for Renters

Want to dress up your rented space? No problem. Peel and stick wallpaper is perfect for renters since the product is removable and doesn’t damage the walls.

    5. Easy Removal

Removal is easy as there is no need for wallpaper strippers or scoring the wallpaper.  When you’re ready to remove just simply pull each panel strip away from the wall leaving the wall surface intact. You can see how easy it is to remove in Emily Clark’s blog post here.

    6. Not Just for Walls

Do you love a design but don’t want to commit to covering your entire wall with it, but still incorporate it into you space? Explore your creative side by applying to stair risers, shelves, drawer fronts, landing table tops, bar tops, drawer sides, refrigerator fronts, frame it for wall art…The possibilities are endless!

So whatever your design needs are, incorporating a beautifully designed peel and stick wallpaper is an excellent option.

Have fun showing your space some love…❤️

    Ciao,
    Deanna

I love creating patterns. Creating patterns in col I love creating patterns. Creating patterns in collections is something fairly new to me and have always struggled with. I find my collections differ from the norm in that I try to keep a consistent theme with my pattern collections. So instead of 1 or 2 hero prints with smaller and medium sized companion prints to go with them, I create patterns and motifs that have the same theme. For example, the same floral or plant family, or line work style, or sometimes even wildlife. I will keep them all consistent with my choice of color palette and various color ways (as shown in this post) and for an extra pop I’ll throw in a bold color (sometimes 2).
..
Remember, there is no right or wrong way when creating - just create as your heart and mind guide you…it’s a very gratifying experience.
